Refunds and Cancellations Policy
How refunds work for tickets booked by phone: the 24-hour rule, refundable and non-refundable fares, airline cancellations, and partner-agency fees.
The 24-hour rule
Under US Department of Transportation regulations, tickets to, from, or within the United States that are booked at least seven days before departure may be cancelled within 24 hours of purchase for a full refund to the original form of payment. Call (708) 866-8751 within that window and the agent will process it.
After 24 hours
Refundable fares are refunded to the original payment method, less any airline fee stated in the fare rules. Non-refundable fares are not refunded in cash but on most carriers convert to an airline credit when cancelled before departure. Basic economy fares generally have no residual value. No-shows forfeit the ticket on nearly all carriers.
Airline cancellations and schedule changes
If the airline cancels your flight or makes a significant schedule change, you are entitled to a full refund regardless of fare type, or a free rebooking. Our agents will request the cash refund if that is what you prefer.
Timing
Airlines must process card refunds within seven business days of the request. Your bank may take an additional statement cycle to show the credit.
Partner agency fees
Service fees charged by our partner agency are described on the fees page and are refundable only where stated there.
