Booking a flight

How do I book a flight with WarBird Flight?

Search any route on the site to see the lowest fare recorded recently, then call the number on the page. A licensed agent at our partner agency searches every airline live, quotes today's price, and books it — usually in about ten minutes. You can also call without searching first and describe the trip.

Is WarBird Flight an airline?

No. WarBird Flight is an independent booking service; the agents who take your call work for a licensed partner travel agency. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by any airline. Tickets are issued by the airline and carry the airline's own confirmation code.

Can you book one-way, round-trip, and multi-city trips?

Yes — round-trip, one-way, open-jaw, and multi-city itineraries. For anything with more than two segments, calling is best so the agent can price the whole itinerary as one ticket where that is cheaper.

Can you book last-minute or same-day travel?

Yes. Agents search real-time availability and can have a last-minute or same-day trip booked and confirmed within minutes, 24/7.

Do I need an account to book?

No account is needed. You give the agent the passenger details and a card on the call, and the airline confirmation is emailed to you within minutes.

Can I book for someone else?

Yes. You need the traveler's full name exactly as it appears on their government ID or passport, their date of birth, and contact details. The ticket is issued in the traveler's name.

Changes, cancellations, and disruptions

Can I change my flight after booking?

Yes. Agents handle same-day date, time, and route changes on the phone. They read the fare rules on your ticket, then quote any airline change fee and fare difference before anything is changed. Basic economy usually cannot be changed on US carriers.

Can I cancel and get a refund?

It depends on the fare and timing. Any ticket to, from, or within the US can be cancelled within 24 hours of booking for a full refund when booked at least seven days before departure. After that, a nonrefundable ticket normally becomes a credit rather than cash. If the airline cancels or significantly changes your flight, US rules require a cash refund if you decline the new plan.

What if I missed my flight?

Call right away — the sooner the better. Agents check the next available flights, same-day standby, and nearby-airport alternatives to get you rebooked. Some airlines extend an informal grace period to travelers who show up shortly after a missed departure, but it is not guaranteed.

The airline changed my schedule — can you help?

Yes. When an airline moves your times or drops a connection, the agent reviews what it is offering, and if the change is significant you may be owed a better rebooking at no extra cost or a full refund. They handle the rebooking for you.

Can I change just one leg, or keep my outbound and move the return?

Yes, subject to the fare rules — a single segment can be modified without touching the other, and you pay only any airline fee plus fare difference.

Can I fly standby on the same day?

On carriers that allow it, agents can explain your same-day standby or same-day confirmed-change options and any fee, and set it up on the call.

Refunds and credits

How long does a refund take?

Airline refunds to the original card typically take a few weeks, and can run longer at peak times; the exact timing is set by the airline and your card issuer. An agent can check the status of a pending refund when you call.

How do flight credits work?

When you cancel a nonrefundable ticket before departure, most airlines keep the value as a credit tied to your ticket, usually good for about a year from the original purchase date and not transferable to another person. Give the agent the ticket number and they read the exact rules on your credit.

When does the airline owe me a cash refund?

Under US Department of Transportation rules, you are owed your money back in cash — even on a nonrefundable or basic economy ticket — when the airline cancels your flight, or changes it significantly and you decline the new plan, regardless of the reason for the cancellation.

Fees and payment

Are there hidden fees?

No. Airline fares already include government taxes and fees. Our partner agency may add a service fee per ticket, and that fee is disclosed to you before you pay. The total you approve on the call is the total you are charged.

Is it more expensive to book by phone?

Airline fares are the same by phone as online. Any service fee is told to you up front, and agents often offset it by finding a lower fare — splitting carriers, checking alternate airports, or catching a cheaper fare class.

What payment methods do you accept?

Major credit and debit cards. The ticket is charged once you approve the fare on the call, and the airline confirmation follows by email.

Seats, baggage, and special items

Can you seat our family together?

Agents check the live seat map and do their best to secure adjacent seats while you are on the phone. US carriers have committed to seating children 13 and under next to an accompanying adult at no charge when adjacent seats are available.

Can you add or change checked bags?

Yes. Agents can add checked bags or update the bag count, and adding bags at booking is usually cheaper than at the airport. They can also explain the carry-on rules for your specific fare.

Can you handle sports gear or musical instruments?

Yes. Skis, golf clubs, surfboards, and instruments are coordinated with the airline; a small instrument can usually travel in the cabin, and a larger one can be flown on its own purchased seat.

Can you add my TSA PreCheck (KTN) or frequent-flyer number?

Yes. Agents can add or update your Known Traveler Number, Global Entry, or a frequent-flyer number on the reservation so you clear security faster and earn miles.

Can you check upgrade or extra-legroom seats?

Yes. Agents check availability for extra-legroom rows, exit rows, and cabin upgrades, and quote the cost before you decide.

Who we help

Do you help seniors, students, and military travelers?

Yes. Agents check senior and student fares where carriers offer them, and apply military fares and waived bag allowances for active-duty travelers and, where eligible, dependents on orders.

Can you book an unaccompanied minor?

Yes. Agents book the unaccompanied-minor service alongside the ticket, complete the required form, and choose flights that comply with the airline's age and routing rules.

Can I travel with a pet?

Agents check in-cabin and cargo pet policies, reserve the limited pet spots, and outline the carrier and documentation each airline requires.

Can you arrange wheelchair or special assistance?

Yes. Wheelchair and other special-assistance requests are added to the booking so the airline is prepared at every point of the trip.

Can you book a group?

Yes. For ten or more travelers agents request group fares, which hold seats against a deposit and let names be added later. They compare the group quote against individual tickets and book whichever is cheaper.

The service and your booking

What hours can I call?

24 hours a day, every day, including nights, weekends, and holidays, for callers in the United States and Canada.

How do I get my ticket and manage it later?

Your airline confirmation is emailed within minutes of payment, with the airline's confirmation code so you can view or manage the booking on the airline's own site or app. You can also call the same number any time to change, cancel, or ask about it.

Is my payment secure?

Card details are taken by the licensed agent to issue the airline ticket and are handled under standard card-industry security. WarBird Flight does not sell your information.

Do you book international flights?

Yes, on every major carrier, including the Gulf and European airlines. Agents compare routings and baggage allowances, and check passport and visa validity before ticketing.
